I had a request from someone to make a baby card recently, so this is what I made! :)

I added a little sentiment on the inside to finish it up!

And here is the sketch we all used this month!

Some Stampin' Tips:
- Layer color on color by using texture. On this particular card, I defaulted to one of my favorite techniques-- cutting my card base, then cutting from the same piece of cardstock a piece that is 1/4" smaller and then dry embossing that piece with my Big Shot.
- Use up scraps. I had the Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper out for another project so I used up some scraps on this card! Cards are a great way to use up those little bits of your patterned paper!
- Using sketches. I love sketches when I'm stuck for what to make. This stamp set always stumps me (even though I love it!) so this sketch was a perfect way to make me use the set. I just pulled the stamps out and arranged them on my card pieces I had cut until I found an arrangement I liked. Sometimes it works well to look at a sketch and see what stamps you might have that will fit that sketch!

That is stinkin' adorable Amanda! I will definitely be casing this card in the near future!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card Amanda. I really like the color combo. I would have never put the two together but they really work. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteLove!! What a great card Amanda! I have a bunch of baby stuff to make so thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! Great color choice, love the embossing, and the little decoration on the onesie is so fun.
ReplyDeleteLove it, just like every other one of your cards. I will have to put in an order for like a dozen of those ;) even though I may have the onesie stamp. Who cares.
