Happy Saturday and welcome to the Jacksonville Starz Blog Hop! I'm happy to say that this is a regular monthly feature around here... you can find it the first Saturday of the month going forward! :)
In case you missed past blog hops, you can check them out here. And now onto this month's hop... :)
This month our theme is a color challenge -- how fun, right?! I love color challenges and this one comes from our Color Coach, a great tool that can help jump start your creativity when you are stuck or when you want to try something new with what you already have on hand. And this color scheme is one of my favorites! :)
When I sat down to do this month's card, I had intended on using a different stamp set than this... but I had loaned it out to one of my friends! So I began searching through stamps I hadn't used yet and found this one... I'm so glad that I did.
This set is perfect for anything fall or rustic. Great sentiments and I love the wood grains (of course!). I mixed in a little Gorgeous Grunge stamps just to finish it off (I'm hopelessly addicted to those ink blot stamps in that set!).
Up next in the hop is one of my favorite stampers... Maria Willis! I'm lucky to say that she is a part of my downline team and we are long lost stamping soul mates. (Seriously, we always buy the same stamps, pin the same cards.... we are long lost stamping twins!) So please go hop along to Maria's blog to see her fabulous (I'm sure it's fabulous!) card this month!
And just in case you get lost... here is this month's list of participants!
Amanda Sevall <-- you are here! :)
