365 Cards: You're Invited... Stamping with Markers Video Tutorial

Here is the third of the three cards for this month's Stamp of the Month Club!  So if you have ever come to one of my classes in person, you know this is my most frequently taught "skill"... using markers to stamp your image is a great way to stretch your dollars and make your cards interesting!

For this card, the sentiment is one stamp that I colored in using markers, then stamped:

It is hard to explain stamping with markers using photos or words, so here it is in a video tutorial! :)

I'm still working on my filming and video editing skills, so go easy on me! ;)

I think this would make for a fun invitation...

What do you think?!

My Newest Obsession... Spotify.

First things first.... this obsession is ALL my friend Brianne's fault!!

So if you haven't heard of it, you're probably wondering what is Spotify?

It's the most amazing thing since Napster if you ask me!  You pay a flat monthly fee of $9.99 and you can listen to any song you want, save it, create playlists, listen to radio stations based on genre, browse based on moods, listen to entire albums or just one artist... you name it, it has it.  It's AMAZING!

So I have three playlists going at the moment:
*Killer Instrumental Covers
*Getting Christmas-y Up in Here
*My Absolute Favorites
All pretty much self explanatory! :)

Another cool feature is the ability to search by artist.  So say, hypothetically, you wanted to listen to Mariah Carey.  You search her name, her artist page comes up.  You can see every album, every single, every live version she has ever recorded.  In order.  You can save albums, follow her, add songs to your custom playlists.

Also, Spotify available in a web browser, as a free player you can download to any computer, as an app on any Apple device (iPhone, iPad, etc)... now for portable devices, you have to download what you want to listen to, but no big deal.  I'll be doing this next time I go on a road trip for sure!  In fact, I'll probably add a road trip playlist.

There is also a social aspect to the product (of course!).  You can connect with your friends by connecting your spotify account to your facebook account.  Once connected?  You can share playlists, songs, and all that good stuff you would expect from connecting two software applications in this day and age! :)

So yeah, I'm hopelessly addicted.  And happy to pay my $9.99 per month once my free 30-day trial expires.

OBSESSED.  Did I mention that already?! :)

What music should I go listen to next?  Have you ever heard of or tried Spotify? :)

Please note: I am not affiliated with Spotify in any way. I just really love this product!!
