So what has been keeping me so occupied? Well so far this summer...
Planted and replanted our front garden three times... finally have mostly alive plants!
As of today, there are four plants in the pic that have died... sigh... but definitely more wins than losses finally!
Attended a wedding for a family friend (also my sister's bestie!).... beautiful wedding!
The beautiful bride Heather -- I used to babysit her! And her husband Casey. Such a beautiful wedding and couple :)
I went to Lake Tahoe with my family.
No words can describe how much I love this place!
It's been a while since we had a picture of all of us.... missing Brian and Amy but really close to all of us! :)
Traveled to Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! 2014 Convention - Inspire. Create. Share. 2014. It was amazing!
This is just a little peek at what it was like to be there... more soon! :)
Our precious, furry baby Scarlet was brutally attacked by the neighbor's dogs and had to have emergency surgery. :(
As of today, her shoulder is completely healed and the fur is growing back in nicely!
We adopted an 8 week old Boston Terrier puppy. And we named her Molly. :)
She knows she's cute too! :)
Yes, Molly is usually a blur of motion. And yes, Scarlet is usually looking at us with this look of "Why?" LOL
Molly had surgery last Sunday to remove her left eye after it ruptured overnight on Saturday/Sunday. :(
Molly with her Cone of Shame... she's healing/recovering quickly :)
I've taught at least one stampin' class a month, sometimes more!
I've recruited two more members to my downline team, the Monterey Bay Card Sharks, since June. (One more and I will promote to Manager - yay!)
I've partnered with a local small business to co-teach a Paint, Stamp & Sip class (first one is tonight!).
And there are a few other crazy things that have happened that will have to wait until another day to be shared! :)
My sister, brother and I at Tahoe!
I'll be back soon with posts on Lake Tahoe, Stampin' Up!'s Convention, Scarlet n' Molly stories and to share my newest crafty pursuit -- painting + stamping!
As for what is left in the last days of summer... I'm still hoping to fit in some more time with Brian, some more time with family & friends, and some time to catch up my blog with the 100+ cards I've made since I last posted!! eek! :)
How is your summer going?!
