Project Life 2013: Week Five.

Overdue for an update on this project I think.... Better late than never, right?! :)  I'm over halfway through scrapping last year.  I kept up with it pretty well until about August, even though I was behind, and then just... well... fell way behind!  Including sharing it here!  But that's okay.... going to catch up for the next week or two on the blog here to what I have finished for now.

You can click on the pics to enlarge them for a somewhat clearer image.

Week of: January 28 - February 3, 2013.

What happened this week?  Nothing really remarkable happened this week.... which I think is the point of this project... to capture the everyday!  The office got cleaned, we watched the Super Bowl....

Anything special about the spread?  Not particularly, but I think that's what I love about it.  Lots of daily life, current events, everyday photos.  It will be fun to look back in a year and remember an average week!

Techniques this week:  I included some great "pinterest" quotes (like the one shown of Steve Jobs) and a funny meme that went around this week that perfectly summarized the disastrous Super Bowl for the 49ers! It was a great way to incorporate some thoughts and current events into the week.

Overall thoughts:  I love that this project captures all the great/big/fun things that we do, but it also allows me to capture the day-to-day.  The reality of our world and the world around us.  Can't wait to look back on this in ten years!

Project Life, created by Becky Higgins, is a memory keeping system to help capture the bits and pieces of life.  I am using it to capture photos + thoughts on our life every week.  You can view all the posts here.
