Last Sunday, I held a meeting with my Stampin' Up! downline team -- all the fabulously talented ladies who have joined my team came over to make a couple of cards and I taught them how to make a card in a box!
What is a card in a box exactly? Allow me to introduce you.... :)

Seriously, I had the best time making this card!! It's definitely a WOW card... you pull it out of the envelope and can't help but say WOW! :)

I attempted to keep this simple in decorating by matting my patterned paper with card stock and going easy on how many decorations I added!

Here's a side shot so you can see how the box is constructed:

And there is a place to write your notes to the recipient on the back that doubles as stability for the card to stand up once opened :)

And in case you were wondering.... it will fold flat and fit in an envelope!! :)

So now the fun part....
A step-by-step photo tutorial to make your own! There is also a video with the tutorial if you want to see what it looks like. :)
Have you seen or made a card in a box before? :)
