Project Life 2013: Week Three.
Another week spent hard at work, working, and hard at home, improving!
Click on the photos to enlarge them and see them a little better.
Week of: January 14-20, 2013.
What happened this week? Brian was at work up in Gilroy (it's a commute for him) and we spent lots of time continuing to paint the stairwell and wrap up our home improvement binge!
Anything special about the spread? I enlarged a pic that Brian had sent me via text message from his bike ride after work one day -- I love how easy it was to use a whole page like that. Totally will be doing it again!
Techniques this week: Aside from the whole page spread, I made my own title card using a stamp set. I inked it up in a light pink color (Primrose Petals), then rolled the edge in a darker pink color (Raspberry Ripple) to create a two-tone effect on the flower. Love how it turned out!
Overall thoughts: I finished this two page spread in no time... using one photo to fill a page is a great solution if you are light on photos for the week and don't have much to say!
Project Life, created by Becky Higgins, is a memory keeping system to help capture the bits and pieces of life. I am using it to capture photos + thoughts on our life every week. You can view all the posts here.

That's cool! I don't think I've ever seen someone fill the entire page of a PL spread with a single photo.
