Card: Sweet Friend

So more adventures in heat embossing... not perfect stamping... but I rolled with it.  Been wanting to play with the newer scented embossing powders -- they are so much fun!

First, I colored and stamped each popsicle separately, washing the stamp off in-between.  Then I went back and embossed each popsicle one at a time using vanilla scented powder on the top and Early Espresso on the sticks:

It was a little tedious, but worth it.  Fun and imperfect :)  A little bit of a learning curve, but being honest, not every card ends up perfect.... that yellow popsicle will bug me every time I see it!

Trying to embrace the imperfection... maybe it will line up right next time!

Supplies for this project:

Stamps:  Mouthwatering, You are Loved
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant
Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Versamark, Markers (Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, and Pacific Point)
Punches:  Modern Label, Word Window
Other:  Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Ribbon, Paper Snips, Glue Dots, Vanilla Scented Embossing Powder, Early Espresso Embossing Powder, Heat Gun

  1. Scented embossing powder?! How had I not heard of this? Do they make a wide variety of scents? Love your card!
