Card: Patriotic Hello

I wanted to share a fun, quick card I made last week messing around with the color scheme of red, white and blue... patriotic for 4th of July of course!

I've seen many cards that use this design -- punching out a shape and allowing patterned paper to show through.

So easy and simple... now I wonder why I haven't tried it sooner!

Hope you enjoyed the holiday!! :)

Supplies for this project:

Stamps:   Pennant Parade
Cardstock:  Pacific Point, Whisper White
Specialty Paper:  Summer Smooches
Ink:  Basic Grey
Punches:  5-Petal Flower (retired), Small Heart, Word Window, Modern Label
Other:  Subtles Buttons, White Baker's Twine, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Big Shot

  1. I wonder why I've never tried it either! It's such a cute effect. I love your R/W/B color scheme and the polka dots with the embossed dots. Adorable!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love! I truly appreciate it and will return the love whenever I can! Due to spam, all comments are moderated, so it will show up as soon as I have a chance to see it! :)
