Favor: Valentine Defined Envelope

When I saw this in our monthly Stampin' Success magazine (it's the magazine they send demonstrators each month), I had to recreate it!!  I LOVE the idea of gluing an envelope shut and punching one end open with a border punch -- brilliant!!  Perfect for holding a small gift, gift card, a love note or some candy!!

Mini Card: Be My Valentine

Life has been crazy the last couple weeks -- I injured my back and it slowed me down significantly.  I'm finally starting to feel better, so I'm able to get back into my craft room!!  Welcome to all my new (& old) virtual followers -- I'm happy to meet you and follow your fun crafting adventures!!  Now on with the crafty stuff.... :)

I have to tell you, I love this stamp!  So pretty and simple.  It's a great deal at only $8.95 -- perfect for mass producing valentine's cards for kids, neighbors, family or friends!  Here's a small 3x3" card I made using the stamp.  Hope my husband is ready for all the love cards he's going to be getting next month! :)

Be My Valentine Mini in Rose Red

I stamped the heart twice -- once in each ink color -- and cut out my black banner with "Be My Valentine" and attached it to my Rose Red image using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I love my Dimensionals and use them all the time!! Happy Monday!! :)

Letterpress | Card: LOVE

At my stamp camp class earlier this month, I made this card while I was demonstrating the Big Shot Letterpress plates.  So much fun!! I'm totally addicted and want to make more now.  Through trail and error, I found that you get the best impression on the Watercolor Paper.  Funny.  Isn't that what the instructions say?!

LOVE

I also love the glimmer paper -- it doesn't flake glitter everywhere!!  I hope they carry it in a rainbow of colors next catalog!!  It's perfect for punching hearts out of and using on a scrapbook layout.  Soon, I'll be showing you a 12x12" layout I made using it.  So fabulous!! :)

Supplies for this project:
Cardstock:  Whisper White (#100730); Early Espresso (#119686); Real Red (#182402)
Specialty Paper:  Watercolor Paper (#105019); Red Glimmer Paper (#121790)
Ink:  Real Red Craft Stampin' Spot (#119718)
Other:   Lots of Love Letterpress Plate (#120983); Big Shot Die-Cut Machine (#113439)
Punches:  Heart Extra-Large (#119883)
Ribbon:  Real Red 5/8" Satin Ribbon (#117286)

New Year... New Stuff....

New Niece....

New laundryroom (I hope)....

We tested ten of these colors on the wall. No decision once the new washer & dryer got here. Back to Home Depot for some more colors.... :|  The paint testing fun continues...

And new blog...
to go along with my new side gig... :)

So if you like making cards, stamping, scrapping... any of that crafty sort of stuff, please come be one of my first followers over there!  I'm also booking workshops if you see anything on that blog that you want to make. :)

I've been having fits with the html coding on that blog.  For now it's working in Internet Explorer, but no other platforms.  Going to have to recode it in a different way this weekend.  Wish me luck... I think I may need it!!

Hope you are enjoying the new year... I can't believe we are already a week into it.  Yikes!
