Scrapbook Layout: Halloween 2010

Continuing with the Halloween goodies.... here's a 6x6 scrapbook layout for Halloween 2010:

I was inspired by a Page Maps mini map for this layout.  I started out just arranging my cut papers on the grey cardstock, but they weren't looking finished.  So I ended up distressing the edges a bit with the basic grey ink pad:

In the photo, the left side has no distressing and on the right you can see I distressed the edges a bit and I think it made the layout look more finished.

I did this layout for a swap with my upline, Zarogina.  I wanted to branch out and start making 6x6" sized layouts to push myself out of my 12x12" comfort zone.  I was really happy with how it turned out!  I will definitely be scrapping in this size again soon!

Do you scrap 6x6"?!

Supplies for this project:
Cardstock:  Basic Grey, Whisper White
Specialty Paper:  Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper
Ink:  Basic Grey
Punches:   Decorative Label, Bat (retired)
Other: Stampin' Write Markers in Old Olive, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White 1/4" Taffeta Ribbon

  1. FUN!! I loveeeeee those papers and the bat! :):):):):):):):):):):)

  2. Very nice! I like 6x6, though only for gift albums. I've never made one that I've kept.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love! I truly appreciate it and will return the love whenever I can! Due to spam, all comments are moderated, so it will show up as soon as I have a chance to see it! :)
