Card: Spice Cake Inspired Thank You

Back again today with a second take on my card from yesterday... same color palette, same wreath:

Totally different outcome!

I grabbed a clear ruler (I only ever use a clear one so I can see where I am at relative to everything else!) and used it to make stitches with my Soft Suede marker.  I also used a Pink Pirouette marker to hand draw a tiny heart next to my sentiment.

I can't decide which version I like better - which do you like better? :)

Supplies for this project:
Stamps:  Days of Gratitude, Delightful Dozen
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
Ink:  Soft Suede (sentiment & acorns), More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, River Rock (leaves)
Other: Chocolate Chip Baker's Twine, Glue Dots (to hold down bow), Stampin' Dimensions (acorns), Soft Suede and Blushing Bride Stampin' Markers, ruler

  1. What elegant and warm cards Amanda. I like both but I think because of the darker background my preference is the first one. Absolutely beautiful and really gives you that sense of fall. TFS!

  2. A lovely card, beautiful faux stitching! I love both cards you've made, I don't know if I could pick only one.

  3. This caught my eye right away! Love it! And love those colors!

  4. Tough choice, but I think I like this one better.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love! I truly appreciate it and will return the love whenever I can! Due to spam, all comments are moderated, so it will show up as soon as I have a chance to see it! :)
