Card: Spice Cake Inspired Give Thanks

Last weekend I did a swap with my upline, Zarogina and today, I'm showing you the Thanksgiving themed card I made!

There was a card I remembered seeing using the leaf from the Days of Gratitude stamp set to make a wreath like this last fall, but I cannot find it now.  If it's yours, please let me know and I'll be happy to give you credit for inspiring me to do the same! :)

And yes, I hand cut all those leaves, aka fussy cut.  I actually find fussy cutting relaxing!  :)

My colors were pulled straight from the color palette from one of the new Designer Series Papers - Spice Cake.  If you look carefully in all the catalogs, Stampin' Up! actually tells you all the colors used so that you can perfectly color coordinate.  Well I love that color combo, so I decided to use it for my card!

I enjoyed making this card so much, I actually made a second version that I will be back tomorrow to share with you!

Supplies for this project:
Stamps:  Days of Gratitude, Hand-Penned Holidays
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip
Ink:  Soft Suede (sentiment & acorns), Crumb Cake (woodgrain), More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, River Rock (leaves)
Other: Chocolate Chip Baker's Twine, Glue Dots (to hold down bow), Stampin' Dimensions (acorns)
